Texans RB Steve Slaton appears healthy and was given a clean bill of health by HC Gary Kubiak on Friday. We gave him the day off last Saturday, but he’s been able to practice every day since,” Kubiak said
Kubiak also said that the daily icings on Slaton's foot were just precautionary in trying to prevent any problems with his toe. With RB Ahman Green scheduled to play and receive around 12-15 carries, expect Slaton to have the chance to see around 10 carries or so in the opener. Watch to see which Texans RB is most effective.
