Let's not get carried away just yet. There's a reason they say "any given Sunday". It's one game. Let's see 'em do it again before we hand them the Lombardi trophy.

it'd be hard to make the organization worst than it was...

Stranger things have happened but Parcells pulls a typical Parcells move on Ronnie Brown and look how he responds. He may not have effect for more than a few years, but for a short start he is the best in the biz. Every team he was with has gone from horrible to Superbowl contender within a few years. I dont expect the Fins to be a contender this year, but beating the Pats is a huge confidence booster and now the team has faith in Ronnie Brown being able to win a game by himself. You never know,  I have seen worse teams make the playoffs, although the Bills own the AFC East at this point. You are right Steve, the Phins arent a contender just yet, but beating the offseason Superbowl favorite and equalling your previous years 16 game win total by week 3 aint too bad. Getting Brown to have a career day after he was demoted is classic Parcells move and would not have been accomplished with any other GM let alone coach in the league. Parcells gets the most out of the least better than any other Coach or GM in the moden era of the NFL. If Belichick wins the Superbowl this season he may earn a spot close to Parcells`.  Belichick can make a lot out of nothing also and is able to maintian a team at a high level, which Parcells has never really tried to prove. But unless he can go into the worst teams in the NFL and consistently turn them into a Superbowl candidate, I will never grade him as high of a short term motivator as Parcells.

The team might be over-performing in some games, and can't seem to win the ones they should, but respectability isn't something they have had in south Florida for a while. I'm a believer.
