With many trade deadlines having come to pass, the trade court activity trickled to a halt this past week. Here are two of the decisions handed down during a slow week in the courtroom.
So sit back anxiously, fantasy enthusiasts, because court is now in session.

Team One (players receiving and analysis):
Marques Colston
Marques Colston
Colston finally had his first "Colston-like" game. With his big performance last week, Colston showed fantasy owners what they were expecting and what they have been missing all season long. He may finally be ready to resume his WR1 role in fantasy football and should be a big help down the fantasy stretch and into the playoffs for Team Two.
Team Two (players receiving and analysis):
Jerricho Cotchery
Cotchery is just outside of the top-30 at WR and is a solid weekly play in most performance and ppr leagues. He has thrown in a couple of clunkers here and there, but generally speaking Cotchery is a solid WR2 and a great WR3 in most leagues.
Torry Holt
Holt continues to struggle and is barely a top-60 WR right now. In most fantasy leagues he is nothing more then a WR4 and he is clearly not living up to his big name and potential. With the Rams offense still in shambles, expect Holt's struggles to continue for the remainder of the season.
Jamal Lewis
Lewis is basically a top-25 RB and a solid RB2 for the remainder of the season. While he is nothing special, he is a more then suitable back that gets the bulk of the carries and will team with Jacobs to provide a solid one-two punch with big TD potential down the stretch.
VERDICT
This trade seems ok to me. Team One gains another stud WR to pair with Fitzgerald and uses their RB and WR depth to do so. Team Two adds a much needed RB and some WR depth to their roster for a final playoff push. All in all it seems like a fair deal to me. Trade Allowed.
Case #2
Type of league: Redraft league
Scoring system: WCOFF
Dispute: See if trade is fair Philip Rivers for Randy Moss

Closing Arguments: Both teams will make the playoffs
Judge’s Thoughts:
Team One (players receiving and analysis):
Randy Moss
Randy Moss
Moss may not be the superstar he was with Brady at the helm, but he is still a top-20 WR and a solid WR2 in most leagues. He has scored at least ten points in four straight games and in five of his last six contests as well. His addition to Team One's WR corps allows them to play matchups better on a weekly basis and will also allow them to bench two of Housh, Holmes, C.Johnson and Avery on any given week.
Team Two (players receiving and analysis):
Phillip Rivers
Rivers remains a top-5 QB this season and doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon. With the struggles that Team Two is going through with Orton hurt, Flacco being more of a QB2, and Rosenfels being unreliable, the acquisition of Rivers becomes a big move more their team. While Team Two has some WR depth with Jones and Hill performing of late, they can afford to part with Moss for the high upside of Rivers over their incumbents at the QB position.
VERDICT
This trade looks fine by me. Team One uses their amazing depth at QB to part with a top-5 QB in order to enhance their WRs. Team Two gains arguably the better player in the deal by dealing off the bigger name in Moss. In the end it benefits both teams. Trade Allowed.
Until next week, court is adjourned.
